Summary
As an admin, I want to receive an email notification whenever a new account request is submitted, so that I no longer need to manually check the account requests queue on a daily basis.
Problem / Motivation
Currently, there is no automated notification when a new account request comes in. Admins must log in and manually check the account requests section regularly to stay on top of pending approvals. This creates unnecessary overhead and increases the risk of delayed responses to new users waiting for access.
Proposed Solution
Add an email notification system that automatically sends an alert to designated admin(s) whenever a new account request is received. The email should include:
  • Requester's name and email address
  • Date and time of the request
  • A direct link to review and approve/deny the request in Niceboard
Acceptance Criteria
  • An email is automatically triggered when a new account request is submitted
  • The email is sent to one or more configurable admin email addresses
  • The email contains key details about the requester and a deep link to the request
  • Admins can opt in/out of these notifications in their account settings
